Beautiful Decay: Street Art And Fashion Collide
Focusing mainly on underground art and illustration, Beautiful/Decay magazine has showcased oodles of talent from different backgrounds and disciplines over the last decade. It's been their mission to support new, emerging and established artists from across the globe and it looks like they're not stopping anytime soon, with the introduction of their superb new t-shirt line this year.The shirts are all designed and illustrated by artists who have been featured in Beautiful/Decay before: there's Josh Hassin's gorgeous watercolour collage design, Sasha Lee's sketchy mythical lion-beast and Skwak's eye-bleedingly brilliant monsters (a Ffwd favourite) in the latest collection.
Best of all, they're printed on super-comfy 100% cotton t-shirt bodies and aren't stupidly expensive like many graphic arts clothing lines. Any profits go back into showing off even more talented new artists. Hoorah!
